Christian Moore
Christian Moore, the 8th overall pick in the 2024 draft, has translated his scorching hot June into a promotion to MLB. The power-heavy second basemen utilized his plus bat speed to hit 4 over the last two weeks. While strikeouts still hinder his profile, his above-average swing decisions alleviate the pain. Moore projects as a slugging infielder with a shaky hit tool and an underwhelming glove, but his plus raw power may carry his production.
Raudi Rodriguez
Raudy Rodriguez, a former 19th overall pick, has built off a strong showing in the AFL with a .945 OPS and 11 HR across 64 games. His exceptional performance earned him an aggressive promotion to AA. With a .945 OPS and 11 HR, Rodriguez has added some life into one of the least exciting pipelines in MLB and has the juice to be a future big league slugger.
Héctor Rodríguez
Héctor Rodríguez, a 22-year-old left fielder, is no stranger to boiling hot stretches. With 17 home runs this season, including 6 HR in the last two weeks, his offensive foundation is built upon a hyper-aggressive approach and eye-popping exit velocities. While I am bearish on his hitting ability translating to MLB, it has worked well for him in the minors.
Joshua Báez
Joshua Báez, a 22-year-old right fielder, makes yet another appearance on the prospect parade after a 4-HR day. With 8 HR in the last two weeks, Báez continues to lay waste to AAA. Despite his dominance of MiLB, Báez does not seem to have a clear path to the majors at the moment. His worrisome strikeout numbers and chase rate indicate that there is ample room for improvement.
Charlie Condon
Charlie Condon, a 23-year-old outfielder, cooled off after a blazing hot start to his season but has turned the tides in the last two weeks. With a .910 OPS and 14 HR, he's making a strong case to debut with the Rockies this summer. His patience sets him apart from his peers, and he is adept at laying off outside pitches.
Brandon Compton
Brandon Compton, the Marlins' 2nd round selection of the 2025 draft, was unstoppable in the last two weeks. With a 1.582 OPS fueled by 8 HR, he's showcasing staggering raw power. Despite his glowing strength, Compton’s poor bat-to-ball skills have but a damper on his future projection.
Drew Brutcher
Drew Brutcher, a 24-year-old outfielder, was signed out of Indy ball prior to the 2025 season. Their scouting of Brutcher looks to have paid dividends as he is in the midst of a strong season with a .900 OPS and an impressive 15.2% BB%. While he may not be more than a platoon outfielder, that outcome would be great for a player acquired via Indy ball.
Ryan Sprock
Ryan Sprock, the Twins' 8th round selection in the 2025 draft, has hit the ground running in Lo-A this season with a .869 OPS. He makes up for his limited raw power with a patient approach and outstanding contact metrics. Sprock will likely earn a promotion to Hi-A soon, where his contact-heavy and patient approach should buoy his production.
Dillon Head
Dillon Head, a 21-year-old center fielder, was my Marlins hitting prospect breakout pick entering 2026. While his season has been underwhelming thus far, he has kicked it up a notch in the last two weeks. His profile still intrigues me thanks to his budding power, above-average hit tool, and patient approach.
Pitchers
Kade Anderson
Kade Anderson, a 21-year-old left-handed pitcher, has been the best pitcher in MiLB this season. With a 3.79 ERA and a 30.2% K%, he's dominating the competition. Anderson is on the fast-track to make his MLB debut this season, as he's simply too good for MiLB at this point.
David Shields
David Shields, a 19-year-old left-handed pitcher, earned an aggressive promotion to Hi-A this season. While his results have not been as pristine against tougher competition, Shields has looked stupendous over the last two weeks, racking up 20 K with just 1 BB in 10.2 innings.
Joseph Dzierwa
Joseph Dzierwa, a 22-year-old left-handed pitcher, has not slowed down since his promotion to AA in late May. With a 3.79 ERA and a 30.2% K%, he's one of the best arms in MiLB. His mid-low-to-mid 90s fastball plays up thanks to his ability to paint it in and around the zone.
Tyson Hardin
Tyson Hardin, a 24-year-old right-handed pitcher, joined my Top 100 prospect list in June and continues to dominate AAA. With a 2.25 ERA and a 2.93 FIP across 40.0 IP, Hardin is one of the more underrated pitching prospects in MiLB.
Owen Murphy
Owen Murphy, a 22-year-old right-handed pitcher, has settled in nicely at AAA. With 16 K and 3 ER over his last 12.0 innings, his standout trait is his high-riding fastball from his below-average slot.
Jacob Kisting
Jacob Kisting, a 23-year-old right-handed pitcher, is one of the best pitchers in Hi-A this season. With a 1.90 ERA and a 30.4% K%, his calling card is a pair of off-speed pitches with drastically different movement profiles.
Blake Morgan
Blake Morgan, a 23-year-old left-handed pitcher, was drafted in the 19th round of the 2025 draft. While he is older for the level, Morgan is dominating Lo-A as was nearly untouchable in his most recent starts.
Jayden Dubanewicz
Jayden Dubanewicz, a 20-year-old right-handed pitcher, has been a consistent force in the Brewers pipeline. With an above-average strike throwing ability, he's allowed him to run miniscule walk rates throughout his pro career.
Seth Hernandez
Seth Hernandez, a 19-year-old right-handed pitcher, has finally returned to the Prospect Parade after a bumpy stretch to start his Hi-A stint. With a 1.54 ERA and 17 SO across 11.2 IP, he continues to flash some of the best stuff in MiLB.
Nate Payne
Nate Payne, a 20-year-old left-handed pitcher, dominated Lo-A before earning a promotion in May. With a 3.00 ERA and 16 SO in 12.0 IP, his bread and butter is a tumbling changeup with staggering vertical separation from his fastball.
